A video of Visiting Assistant Professor of English Adam Giannelli reading his poem "Stutter" was included in Poets & Writers. A recent winner of a National Endowment for the Arts Literature Fellowship in Poetry, Giannelli is working on a poetry book focused solely on stuttering.
CEO World
CEO World magazine included Colby in its list of most beautiful college campuses that "everyone would like to be a part of." In addition to noting how Colby's location provides "students with a truly unique Maine experience," the piece referenced the College's "longstanding commitment to the environment," and the newly added Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center.
Wall Street Journal
The Wall Street Journal spoke with Elizabeth Stephens '21 about her experience as an intern and the role it played in helping her secure a job. The article looked at the need to have an internship before graduation and how recruiters believe the pandemic has made interning more important than ever.

"Colby graduates were treated Sunday to a poem in their honor by a presidential inaugural poet, who urged them to stay grounded during turbulent times," the Associated Press said in a story about the College’s commencement celebrations and speaker Richard Blanco. The article was also picked up by a wide range of papers across the country, including the San Antonio Express and the San Francisco Chronicle

Morning Sentinel

"The feeling of celebration was palpable on Mayflower Hill as speakers emphasized unity and perseverance," the Morning Sentinel reported in an article following Colby's 2021 commencement. The story included comments from President Greene, who told the seniors that this year “every experience mattered, every action was consequential and every friendship and moment of joy was meaningful.”

Authority Magazine
Mike Wisecup, vice president and Harold Alfond Director of Athletics, was interviewed by Authority Magazine, where he discussed lessons learned from his extensive military experience as a Navy SEAL officer. He also talked about how he applied those experiences during the Covid-19 crisis in his current role at Colby.
iDiva
A story about photographer Stefan Kohli '18 ran on India's iDiva website. iDiva singled out Kohli for his photographs of the pop singer Ariana Grande's wedding in May. "Meet the 24-year-old Stefan Kohli," iDiva wrote, "who just photographed the couple’s most intimate moments and is definitely becoming one of the hottest young photographers to hit Hollywood." 
Portland Press Herald
The Colby College Museum of Art reopened June 4, the Portland Press Herald reported. The article also highlighted the upcoming summer exhibition, Bob Thompson: This House is Mine, "the first major survey in more than 20 years of the African American figurative painter, who died in 1966 before he turned 30."
Morning Sentinel
The Colby College Museum of Art will reopen to the public June 4, the Morning Sentinel reported. The reopening coincides with the final weekend of the exhibition Roy Lichtenstein: History in the Making, 1948-1960. "We’ve really missed having a broader swath of our friends and community members in our galleries," Deputy Director Julianne Gilland told the Press Herald.
Boston Globe
The Colby College Museum of Art's summer exhibition, Bob Thompson: This House is Mine, was included in the Boston Globe's list of "New England's 10 Hottest Museum Shows for Summer." Of the retrospective, Boston Globe art critic Murray Whyte said, "the painter’s short, incandescent career left a vapor trail across the sky of American art that glowed brightly and faded quickly."
