Carlson also advocated for a ban on fluorochemicals in ski wax, which in part led to Maine passing a law "directing industries to move away from all kinds of unnecessary PFAS uses by 2030, including ski wax," Marketplace reported. The study was also featured in the Portland Press Herald.
